Committees Overview The standing committees of the Board all report back to the Board as a whole. The Operations Committee is responsible for effective financial management of the Division's operation, dealing with all fiscal matters including payroll, expenditures, transportation and capital planning. The Education Committee is responsible for staffing, educational policy and the delivery of educational programming for Kindergarten to Grade 12 schools throughout the Division. The Negotiations Committee is charged with the responsibility of negotiating with all parties and employee groups with whom the Board has dealings, according to the Board's priorities and parameters. The Chairperson of the Board serves as an ex-officio member of both the Operations and Education Committees, and as Chairperson for all Ad Hoc personnel committees (struck for specific functions from time to time as required).
