Inclement Weather Information

As local residents are aware, Turtle Mountain School Division and the surrounding area can experience severe weather during the winter months. During adverse weather, transportation services may be cancelled due to inclement weather and/or adverse road conditions. The decision to cancel buses and classes or close schools is often a difficult one. Some of the factors considered when make a decision are:

Temperature
Visibility
Wind Chill
Road Conditions
Forecast
Amount of precipitation
Longevity of weather pattern
